que started with one bottle. Five projects later, this is our last chapter.
10 years of que comes full circle here. We're moving onto something new. What's left in the warehouse is what's still here — documented honestly, and priced to actually sell.
que launched in 2016 with a single product: a collapsible water bottle, funded on Kickstarter by thousands of people who backed it before it ever existed on a shelf. That's still the whole model — make something real, show people exactly what it is, and let them decide if they want it.
The studio behind que today is smaller than it used to be — by design, not by accident. It's run lean and deliberately, which means every product on this site is here because it earned its place, not because a marketing calendar needed something new.
That's also why the catalog stays small. Five projects, each one documented in full, each one closing out for good. No filler, nothing kept around just to pad the shop.
Every product que makes gets logged as a numbered Project. que is closing, so every one of them is now a fixed quantity — once it sells out, it's gone for good.
That's not a marketing device. It's how a small studio actually keeps track of what it's made, what's still available, and what's gone for good.
No project starts with a market gap analysis. It starts with something we kept wishing existed — and didn't, until we made it. These are the five rules we hold ourselves to.
We want to make things that are genuinely useful and genuinely nice to look at — not one or the other. Every que project starts with a real, everyday problem, and function comes first, but never at the expense of style.
We want anyone who picks up a que product to feel like it was made for them. That's part of the brief from day one, right alongside function and style — not an afterthought we add once the design is done.
Sustainable shouldn't mean giving something up. We choose recycled and lower-impact materials wherever we can, but only when the product still holds up, still works the way it should, and still looks good enough that you'll actually reach for it every day.
Small batches are just how a small studio runs. When a project sells through, it's done — no restock, no relaunch.
Prices reflect what a product actually costs to make, plus enough to keep the studio running. Nothing more.
“We're not trying to be a brand with a full customer service team, seasonal sales, and marketing campaigns. We're a studio. We design things we want to exist, make a limited amount, and price them to actually sell — not to maximize what we make on them.”

If a project closes out, it closes out for good. If you want to know what's still available, the Catalog is always the honest answer.
